As Event strategists we look at every opportunity as a collaboration of concept, purpose, creativity, and form.  Then we marry that vision with fiscal responsibility to start the journey toward the client’s expectation.  Every great event tells a story – it brings characters alive – it creates an experience that touches the 5 senses and evangelizes in some way.

While our proposal for you will talk the talk – the real work is in walking the walk.  That walk begins with walking in your shoes – understanding your objectives, your expectations, your hopes, your passions, and being willing to fully engage in your mission so that together we can achieve success!

Who we are

Capritta and Associates, Inc is owned by Patricia Capritta a dynamic industry professional with a 36 year history of success in the Meetings, Events and Food and Beverage industry – across all platforms from hotels to convention centers to the opening of her own event company 15 years ago.  Patricia and her team have a diverse portfolio and have developed from concept to inception both public and private events.  In addition to her meeting and event responsibilities Patricia  and her team consult for many hospitality and event organizations in the area of business development and strategy, team development and training, and sales and marketing.

As a strong advocate for ongoing education in the industry Patricia has mentored and taught several meeting and event professionals over the course of a 17 year “industry professional” teaching career including the SDSU hospitality degree program, UCSD meetings extension program, and USD event certificate program.

With a passionate hard driving work ethic that has become the cornerstone of her business Patricia has developed a team of professionals that uphold her philosophy of “Inspiring Passion and Productivity for Peak Performance.”

 

As a graduate of Jonson & Wales University, Chelsea Joyce Gustafson is no stranger to the world of Hospitality. Having degrees and training in culinary arts as well as hospitality, Chelsea has both a creative side as well as an organizational side when it comes to meetings and events. With a passion for food and beverage and a love for creating an experience that is incredibly memorable for attendees, Chelsea excels at making sure every detail is taken care of so that her clients can not only host their event – but enjoy it!
